Barnie is a 3x world duck calling champion, one of 6 men to accomplish that feat. He also won and placed high in a variety of other calling events.
Barnie has been affiliated with many of the waterfowling brands we have all come to know and love. He was the star of Hunter’s Specialities “Take ‘Em” waterfowl series as well as Drake’s Migration Nation. His time and accomplishments in the industry make him an appealing personality for duck hunting shows across the country.
Today, Barnie owns Calef Calls in Cedar Rapids and has recently forged a relationship with Chene Gear .
Barnie is living the waterfowler’s dream, right here in Iowa. We are proud to present him as a 2022 Iowa Outdoorsman Hall of Fame Inductee.
